Fataga – the dreamy mountain town within the “Valley of a 1000 palm trees”. 25 minutes outside of Maspalomas, it shows you a completely different side than you are used to from the touristic South. A wonderful church square, romantic lanes with old, traditional Canarian house as well as the green nature with it subtropical flora.
BEAUTIFUL CANARIAN HOUSES
High up but still in a valley: the village was constructed in the upper part of the Barranco de Fataga on top of a rocky ledge.
Typically for Fataga are the small lanes with their old canarian houses. Distinctive white stone walls characterize the townscape.
Valley OF 1000 PALM TREES
Centrally located in the center
The Finca TASSO/MIO is located directly at the church square in the middle of the village. Within walking distance to the local supermarket, different restaurants and small shops.
The TASSO / MIO Garden ends right next to two wonderful hiking trails that lead to Maspalomas, San Bartolome or Santa Lucia.
FAR AWAY FROM THE SUN & SEA
Fataga offers a beautiful contrasting program to the beach and sea. Not only does TASSO/MIO welcome you with open arms, but also Fataga with open hearts.
